William “Will” George Hoyt Nation

Will Nation, age 32, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday following a courageous battle with injuries he received in an accident more than seven years ago.

Will was born in Demorest and was a member of the White County High School Class of 2002. Will was a loving person and a devoted dad.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Junior and Cora Whitfield; and William and Irene Nation.

He is survived by his children, Shelby Nation, Cora Nation, Joseph Nation, and Hunter Nation; his mother and step-father, Rebecca and Kenneth Grier; father and step-mother, George and Janna Nation; brothers and sisters, PaTonya Rogers (David), KenNette Alexander (Bradley), Candice Grier (Brandon), Krista Wilson (Josh), Charlie Miller (Jessica), Joshua Miller, and Hannah Grier; and his many loving nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend and faithful canine companion, Striker.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.

A Celebration of Will’s life will take place at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 13, 2017 in Hillside Memorial Chapel. Reverend Scott Ledbetter and Reverend Charlie Pugh will officiate. Interment will follow in Love Binding Cemetery.
