Three people were injured in a two vehicle wreck on GA 365 at Charlie Davis Road in Baldwin Tuesday, July 16.
According to Habersham County Public Information Officer Rob Moore, numerous calls were made to Habersham County 9-1-1 beginning at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The callers reported the possibility of a multiple injury wreck on the southbound side of GA 365.
Habersham County Emergency Services, Baldwin Police Department, and Baldwin Fire Department responded to the location. Habersham County Emergency Services transported one person to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Two others were injured but refused medical transport at the scene and traveled by private vehicle to seek medical attention.
The southbound lanes of GA 365 were closed temporarily while emergency personnel cleared the scene. Southbound traffic was detoured onto Charlie Davis Road. The scene was cleared at around 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is investigating the accident. Now Habersham has requested information from GSP about the accident. Georgia State Patrol has not responded to that request.
