Toccoa Falls College will host a community-wide memorial service on the 40th Anniversary of the dam break and flood at Toccoa Falls. The service is scheduled for November 6th at 10 a.m. It will be held in the Grace Chapel & Performing Arts Center on the Toccoa Falls College campus.,
The event is open to the public.
This will be the second event hosted by the college to commemorate the flood that killed 39 people on the TFC campus on November 6, 1977.
A memorial service was held earlier this month during Homecoming at TFC so that out of state alumni could attend.
