Roxy Anne Taylor Sutton

Roxy Anne Taylor Sutton, age 65, of Lula, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019.

Born on October 13, 1954, in Sandy Springs, she was the daughter of the late Rocky and Gwendolyn Frances Moore Taylor. Mrs. Sutton was a homemaker and member of Lula Assembly of Praise. She was known for her benevolence as she gave often and always thought of others’ needs before her own. Mrs. Sutton was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and caregiver. She was dearly loved by her family, church family, and many others.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James “Jimmy” Taylor.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Sutton of Lula; sons and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Holly Sutton of Athens and Justin Sutton of Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and William Rock Stratton of Homer; grandchildren: Austin Holtzclaw, Jasper Holtzclaw, Trinity Rose Sutton, David Luke Sutton, and Skyler Jayden Sutton; great-grandchild, Willow Holtzclaw; brothers and sister-in-law, John and Tori Taylor of Smyrna and Joseph Taylor of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at Lula Assembly of Praise with Pastor Adam Reynolds and Pastor Scotty Poole officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Lula with Minister James McNatt officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at the funeral home.
