If you look at the upper right hand corner of this webpage, you will see the Pass It On icon. This is where many of our readers submitted or met community needs in 2016. McDonald’s of Clarkesville and Cornelia along with Now Habersham want to continue to Pass It On in 2017!
Our motto at Now Habersham is “Community Matters”. Most of us don’t even realize that our neighbors may be in need. Sometimes they are in need of something that we can provide. The goal of the Pass It On campaign is to not only meet immediate needs in our community, but encourage others to Pass It On once they have a need met.
Several needs have been submitted in this first month of 2017. One family is struggling and in need of help with rent, bills, food and finding jobs. Another family is expecting a baby boy and in need of baby things. A full list of all needs submitted can be seen by clicking on MEET A NEED on the above Pass It On icon. If you are able to meet one of these needs, click on the screen name of that person and follow the prompts. If you are in need of some help, click on SUBMIT A NEED and follow the instructions.
We at Now Habersham and McDonald’s of Clarkesville and Cornelia not only believe that our community matters, we believe our community cares. Together, through the Pass It On compassionate community campaign, we can continue to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
In the Bible, Jesus tells us in Matthew 25:40, “I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me.”
