Nancy Evelyn Whaley, age 76, of Gainesville, entered rest Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Evelyn was born in Gainesville to the late John Henry & Ruby Mae Cartee Griffin. She retired from Gwinnett Medical Center from environmental services. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Whaley; brothers, William Henry Griffin, Sanda Griffin & George Daniel griffin; sister, Margaret Fay Hart.
Left to cherish memories, brothers Ronald Thomas Griffin & Ernest Tillman Griffin; a number of nieces, nephews & other relatives also survive.
To honor Evelyn’s wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held.
