Mildred Warren Hardy, age 92 of Cornelia, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Hall County on June 27, 1929, she was a daughter of the late M. J. and Ovie Hubbard Warren. Mrs. Hardy retired as the co-owner of Su-Ci’s Dress Shop and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cornelia. She had a way of making people feel special and loved with her thoughtfulness and generosity. She was known for always sending birthday cards to friends and family, using her love of shopping to buy meaningful gifts, and contributing to the missions of her church. She had a special way of making everyone feel like they were the most important person in her life.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Hardy and daughter-in-law, Dianne Hardy.
Surviving are son, Warren Hardy of the Lake Burton Community; grandchildren, Tommy (Sandi) Hardy of Marietta, Andy (fiancee, Bethany) Hardy of Dacula, and Jenny Hardy of Jefferson; also five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hardy’s wishes were to be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
