Meyghan Simmemon, age 22, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Ms. Simmemon was born on September 19, 1999, in Habersham County, Georgia to Scottie Wade, of Cornelia and Jessyca Simmemon, of Cornelia. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert “Tobe” Simmemon; paternal great-grandmother, Viola Jaworski; and her uncle, Stanley Simmemon. Meyghan was a loving mother, daughter, and sister.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by son, Carsten Simmemon, of Cornelia; step-mother, Jessica Speed, of Cornelia; brothers, Brandone Simmemon, of Cornelia; Brandon Wade, of Cornelia; Dylan Kimsey, of Claxton; Levi Kimsey, of Cornelia; Seth Wade, of Cornelia; sister, Kensley Wade, of Turnerville; maternal grandmother, Sue SImmemon, of Cornelia; paternal grandmother, Donna Hall, of Hiawassee; paternal grandfather, Kenneth Wade, of Cornelia; aunts, Amanda Hunnicutt, of Claxton; Mistey Wade, of Demorest; and many cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel. Interment will follow in the Level Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2021, and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the funeral home.
