Demorest, GA –Â The Piedmont College tennis programs will play their first contest in the state of Georgia this spring, but Friday’s matches with William Peace University originally set to take place at Burgen Tennis Courts on campus have instead been moved to Lifetime Athletic & Tennis at Peachtree Corners in Norcross.
The matches were moved due to expected inclement weather in the North Georgia area and will now take place indoors down at the facility in Norcross. Â The start time has also been pushed back to 6:30 pm backed up from an original start of 2:00 pm.
