Max J. Stiarwalt, age 59, of Alto, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 17, 2020.
Mr. Stiarwalt was born in Fontainebleau, France, on July 22, 1960, to the late Robert Stiarwalt and Madeleine Stiarwalt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Barney Smith. Mr. Stiarwalt was a retired supervisor with Fieldale Farms. He attended Alto Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Stiarwalt, of Alto; daughter, Chancy Burrell, of Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, Brody and Brandi Stiarwalt, of Melbourne, FL; three sisters, France Gosnell, of Clarkesville; Bea Morris, of Texas; and Corrine Button, of Texas; five grandchildren, Madeleine Burrell, Landon Burrell, Peyton Stiarwalt, Jasper Burrell, and Cameron Stiarwalt; also, his beloved pet, Pnut.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2020, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in the Alto Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2020, at the funeral home.
