Marvin Teddy Lee, age 72, of Cornelia, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
Born on May 28, 1951, in Gainesville, he was a son of the late Newman Lee and Edith Prochniak. Mr. Lee retired as a self-employed contractor and was a former Mason. He volunteered at local food banks in the past and also worked the gate at Clemson Football games. Mr. Lee enjoyed working part time with Northeast Georgia Exterminating as well. He lived life to the fullest, always having a good time and being the life of the party. Mr. Lee was an avid Trump supporter and pilot who loved to fly. He took pleasure in traveling, especially to the beach, lake, and anywhere else he could ride his motorcycle. In later years, family meant all to him and he enjoyed spending time with them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Linda Lee; second wife, Olivia Lee; daughter-in-law, April Lee; and siblings: Raymond Lee, Alline Wiley, Billy Henry, and Richard Lee.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bucky and Linda Lee of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Tabitha and Phillip Loggins of Mt. Airy; grandchildren and spouses: Taylor and Alex Mantyka, Jackson Lee, Chandli Loggins, Abby Lee, Madi Loggins, and Aaron and Neahna Lee; great-grandchild, Cager Loggins; brother, Tommy Lee of Clermont; sister-in-law, Maybelle Lee of Clermont; beloved dog and best friend, Peanut; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, with Caleb McAllister officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made ‘In Memory of Teddy Lee’ to your local food bank or animal shelter.
