Brittany Rose Bossinger Hester, age 22 of Commerce, and Lyndon Anthony Hester, age 25 of Commerce, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014, both from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Brittany was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania on February 8, 1992, and was a daughter of Nicholas Alexander Taraschi and Tammy Bivens Titus.
Lyndon was born in Snellville, Georgia on June 13, 1989, and was a son of Steve Hester and Melissa Bell Hester.
Brittany was a 2010 graduate of Eastern Lebanon County School District and Lyndon was a 2009 graduate of Banks County High School. After graduating Brittany and Lyndon both joined the U.S. Army where they met and were married in February of 2011. They were both of the Christian faith.
They are survived by their children, Justen Brantley Hester and Jaycee Rose Hester both of Commerce.
Brittany’s survivors include her father and stepmother, Nicholas A. & Shelby Taraschi of Myerstown, PA; mother and stepfather, Tammy Bivens Titus & Derek Titus of Palmyra, PA; brothers, Ian Taraschi of Myerstown, PA, Joshua Bivens and Dustin Bossinger of Palmyra, PA; sister, Bayleigh Titus of Palmyra, PA; grandparents, Gary & Anna Gettler of Myerstown, PA, Shirley Bivens of Grantville, PA, Angelika Emter-Ginnetto of Palmyra, PA, and Beth A. Titus of Harrisburg, PA.
She was preceded in death by a grandparent, Michael Taraschi.
Lyndon’s survivors include his parents, Steven & Melissa Bell Hester of Baldwin; brothers, Ryan Duchaine (Danielle) of Bethlehem, GA, Stephen Alexander Hester of Kennesaw and Sean Christian Hester of Baldwin; grandparents, James & Joann Bice Bell of Mt. Airy as well as Bob & Kathleen North Hester of Lilburn.
Joint funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Duane Eller and Rev. Jim McLendon officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Grant Reeves VFW Post #7720, the Habersham County American Legion Post #84, the Rabun County Disabled American Veterans Chapter #15, and the Georgia National Guard.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
