Jeanette Jane Tench

Jeanette Jane Tench, age 54, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 19, 2024.

Mrs. Tench was born on April 25, 1970, in Habersham County, Georgia, to Edward and Mary Jane Burton Franklin. Jeanette was a member of Stonepile Baptist Church. She spent her time as a homemaker, tending to her family as a devoted wife and mother. Her nature extended beyond her own household, as she spent many years as a babysitter, helping to raise the children of numerous families while their parents were at work. Jeanette was known as the sweetest person anyone could meet. Her gentle spirit and unwavering belief in the goodness of others touched countless lives. She had a remarkable ability to see the best in people, always offering a kind word or a warm smile to those around her. One of Jeanette’s greatest joys in life was her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Nae Nae.” She took immense pride as a grandmother, finding happiness in every moment spent with them. Jeanette will be missed by everyone who knew her, but her memory will forever be held in their hearts.
