This year marked the seventh year Baldwin has hosted a fall festival in the downtown area on Airport Road. There were several food vendors to feed the crowd. From tacos to bar b que to funnel cakes, food of all varieties were available for festivalgoers. Nearly 40 craft vendors with many unique items were on hand to sell their wares to patrons.

Festivalgoers had games from cornhole to Plinko to a fireman’s challenge to test their skills. Young children enjoyed a bouncy house and a train ride as young and old alike enjoyed a good ole fashioned hayride. Musical entertainment was provided by Katie Deal with Kurt Johnston followed by the Maggie Valley Band. Both entertainment groups played on a stage fashioned as a log cabin.

The evening wrapped up with festivalgoers enjoying s’mores by an open fire followed by a fireworks display that closed out the event.

Mayor Stephanie Almagno was pleased with the event. “I am beyond thankful that we had a beautiful day and an amazing crowd who was supportive of Baldwin and allowing us to give back to the community in such a fun and meaningful way,” she said.
