The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) will host its third annual Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 25, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Office Training Center, located at 2900 County Farm Road in Athens.

The free, family-friendly event will offer trick-or-treating, hot dogs, popcorn, a hayride, games, and a haunted house. The event aims to provide a safe and secure environment for children to enjoy Halloween festivities.

“This is truly a community event that embraces our neighbors for an evening of fun,” Sheriff John Q. Williams said.

To alleviate traffic congestion on County Farm Road, attendees are encouraged to park at Satterfield Park or the Eastside Walmart and utilize the free Athens-Clarke County Transit Shuttle Buses to and from the event.

Local businesses are sponsoring the event. Over 35 Athens-Clarke County Unified Government departments and community partners will have festive booths offering candy, treats, and information.

The haunted house will also be open on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for those who missed the Friday festivities. Admission is free.
