(Cleveland)- The demolition of a Cleveland landmark is well underway.
The subcontractor for the project, Blue Ridge Grading, has knocked down all but the front wall of the old Talon building on Campbell Street.
The Cleveland City Council approved last month moving forward on construction of their new municipal complex for the city. The demolition of the Talon building is required before any work can be done on the building.
Prior to this phase, asbestos had to be removed from inside the structure.
Blue Ridge Grading was awarded the demolition contract, working through Ron Cantrell Construction.
