Gainesville man among suspects sought in murder investigation

The GBI has issued a nationwide lookout for suspects wanted in the disappearance and murder of a Barrow County woman. One of those suspects is from Gainesville.

Juan Ayala-Rodriguez, 35, is among those being sought in the murder of 37-year-old Rossana Delgado of Bethlehem. Delgado, a taxi driver, and mother of two, was reported missing on April 16 and was last seen in DeKalb County on that day.

On April 20, Gilmer County deputies found her body while conducting a welfare check at a residence in Cherry Log, says GBI spokesperson Nelly Miles.

The cause and manner of her death have not been released. Autopsy results are pending.

In addition to Ayala-Rodriguez, authorities are searching for Megan Alyssa Colone, 30, of Stone Mountain; Oscar Manuel Garcia, 26, of Austell; and Mario Alberto Barbosa-Juarez, 29, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

“It is believed that the four suspects plus a fifth suspect that has yet to be identified may no longer be in Georgia,” says Miles. Colone may be traveling under the alias Grace Beda and is believed to be traveling with her minor children. Efforts are underway to identify the fifth suspect.

“If you see any of these individuals, do not approach them. Call 911 immediately,” says Miles.

Anyone with information about the crime or the suspects is asked to contact the GBI tip line at 1-800-597-8477, visit their online tip website, or download the See Something, Send Something app.
