Freddie McIntyre, age 64, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
Mr. McIntyre was born on November 19, 1960, in Habersham County, Georgia, to the late Roy Lee and Mauderie McIntyre. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years, Roxanne Wooten McIntyre; former wife, Peggy Giles and her infant son, Graham; mother-in-law, Judy Armour; sisters-in-law, Leslie McIntyre and Rennie McIntyre.
He was a member of Old Nachoochee Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Clarissa McIntyre, of Blairsville; daughter, Rosemary Burns, of Hollywood; son, Tony McIntyre, of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Jonnathan Miller, of Banks County; daughters, Chelsea McIntyre, of Clarkesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, David McIntyre and Melinda David, of Toccoa; Johnny and Vickie McIntyre, of Clarkesville; Doug McIntyre, of Toccoa; sisters-in-law, Susanne Franklin, Becky Phillips, Crystal Tyler; brothers-in-law, Randall Wooten, Patrick Wooten, and Joy; grandchildren, Faith McIntyre, Aubry Henson, Eli Howard, DJ Dawson and Kirsten, Daisy Dyer, and Ira, Xandria Burns and Donovan Bonner, Hannah Burns and CJ Jones, Emory McIntyre, Macie McIntyre, Addalyn Fletcher, Braxton Flecther, Karli Dean, Eli Miller, Gauge Miller; great-grandchildren, Rubi Dyer, Oaklee Dawson, Brant Keller, Drake Keller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Rev. Joe Frady and Rev. Joel Shadburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Nacoochee Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the funeral home.
