Funeral services for Ethel Virginia London Loggins, age 84 of Demorest will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Fairfield Baptist Church. Rev. Dave Fortner, Rev. Austin Kelley, and Dr. Keith Allison will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Loggins passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015.
Born in Cleveland, Georgia on May 17, 1930, Mrs. Loggins was the daughter of the late William Elisha and Ethel Edwards London. Mrs. Loggins was a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church and was a poultry grower for Fieldale Farms for 35 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Loggins is preceded in death by her husband John Wesley “Buster” Loggins, sisters Louise Davis, Gladys Hawkins, Ruby Ashe and Dot Arnold and a brother Paul London.
Survivors include daughter and son in law Karen and Johnny Roberts of Demorest, daughters Vickie Davidson of Demorest and Sandra Loggins of Cleveland, son and daughter in law Larry and Gail Loggins of Demorest, brother Albert London of Demorest and Crawford London of Clarkesville and sister Lorene Hill of Alabama, as well seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 4 – 8 PM.
