Danny Lee Nash, age 70, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.
Danny was born March 29, 1953, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, to the late Gerald & Mary Franklin Nash. Danny was a brother to David, James & Sandra Nash. He retired from Cobb as a truck driver with over 30 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include wife of 50 years, Patti Meeks Nash; son, Danny Eric Nash; daughter, Tonya Lea (Tracy) Tompkins; grandchildren, Chelsea Nash, Kairee Nash, Gage Nash, Coltin Nash, Connor Tompkins & Abby Tompkins; great-grandchildren, Emma Richmond, Elijah Richmond & Aiden Cheatham. A number of other family survive.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jacob Armour officiating. Burial will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at the funeral home.
