This week, we are profiling teams 3 and 4. Team 3 is another all Habersham team.
Holly Borrow was born and raised in Habersham County. She is married to the BADICAL John Borrow and has 2 beautiful babies, David and Judah. She is the daughter of Carolyn Edwards, James and Linda Edwards. Holly is busy raising her babies and helping out with the family business, the local McDonald’s. Before that, Holly was an educator and coach. Holly serves on the board of directors for The Torch Christian Academy, creative team, and teaches girls club.
Barrow’s partner is John Krippner, a Habersham County resident since 1978. He resides in Clarkesville with his wife Kimberli. They have two daughters, Kenslei and Kasey, and one son, Jordan. Kasey and her husband Marshall have a two-month-old daughter, Harper. John enjoys babysitting and cuddling with Harper whenever he can!
John graduated from Habersham Central High School in 1987. He then attended Piedmont College, where he played baseball and received his degree in Middle Grades Education. Coach Krippner (as he is known to his students) has taught at South Habersham Middle School for 22 years. During those years, John has been the Head Coach for baseball, girls’ softball, and girls’ basketball at HCHS. Currently, Coach Krippner is coaching middle school football, girls’ basketball, and golf.
John’s favorite style of dance is “WORM”, and he is ready to get his boogie on!

An exciting couple to watch will be headed by Francie Keene, owner, director, and instructor of Clarkesville School of Dance, who has over 40 years of dance experience. At the age of 8 years old, Keene began with roles in The King &I with Yul Brenner, South Pacific, and Fiddler on the Roof. She danced at the Crystal Pistol at Six Flags over Georgia, and performed in Spellbound in Los Angeles, Tahoe, and Atlantic City. Keene worked for Disney World and was a part of the original cast of Beauty and the Beast among many other shows. On Broadway she danced in Will Rogers Follies and was a part of the first National Tour. Throughout her career, Keene has enjoyed working with such artists as Michael Crawford, Tommy Tune, Mac Davis, and Gregory Hines. She also had the opportunity to perform for President Bill Clinton and the First Lady. Francie and her husband moved to Clarkesville in 2000 to raise their family. She is the proud mother of 7- 5 boys and 2 girls and is enjoying sharing her love of dance with North Georgia.
Her partner is Joey Terrell, who proudly serves as our Sheriff for Habersham County. He is an active member on various community boards such as the Georgia Board of Public Safety, North Georgia Technical School’s Criminal Justice Program, and Breaking Chains Ministry. Terrell and his wife Darlene have two wonderful children together, Joey Jr. and Katie. Terrell and his family are members of The Torch and love to be involved in serving their community.
