(Cleveland)- A two-month investigation by local law enforcement, following complaints from citizens, has resulted in the arrest of two people, one on drug charges and the other on a probation violation.
Mitchell Posey, Special Agent in Charge with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office said in a news release, on Wednesday, February 28th, the White County Sheriff’s Office, the Cleveland Police Department, and the ARDEO served a search warrant at David Bell’s residence at 96 Greenview Court, Cleveland.
Posey said, White County authorities found 16 grams of methamphetamine, a .22 caliber handgun and a sawed-off shotgun. The street value of the illegal narcotics is $1,600.
According to Posey Bell who is 36, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon (2 counts), possession firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm with altered serial numbers.
22-year old Christian Poulos was at Bell’s house and was arrested for probation violation warrants.
Bell and Poulos were transported to the White County Detention Center.
Bell was arrested two years ago on drug charges.
