A single vehicle rollover wreck slowed traffic on GA 365 North in Cornelia Thursday night. The accident was reported around 8 p.m. just past the Walmart exit.
TFC Aaron Church of Georgia State Patrol Post 7 in Toccoa says the 2016 Chevy Colorado that overturned was driven by 23-year-old Alex Blaisdell of Dahlonega.
Church says Blaisdell was traveling north on GA 365 in the righthand lane. He traveled onto the right shoulder of the road, crossed a ditch, and struck two trees. The pickup rotated, overturned, and came to rest facing south on its driver’s side on the right shoulder.
At this time, there’s no word on the condition of the driver or what caused the accident.
