The Habersham County Chamber of Commerce will host a pre-legislative forum with local state lawmakers on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 starting at 7:30 a.m. at The Torch Worship Center in Demorest.50th District State Senator John Wilkinson, 10th District State Representative Terry Rogers and 28th District State Representative Dan Gasaway will be on hand to talk with constituents about the upcoming 2016 Legislative session.
The event will include brief remarks by the legislators and provide an opportunity for constituents to speak individually with them to provide input prior to the start of the session.
The pre-legislative forum is free and open to the public. Drop-ins are welcome. Breakfast refreshments will be served. Organizers say the event should be over by or before 9 a.m.
