B. INEZ RAWLINS, age 97 of of Smyrna, Georgia, formerly of Habersham County, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014.
Mrs. Rawlins was born June 29, 1917 in Cornelia, Georgia to the late Floyd and Emma Farmer Stephens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Wilkey Hardy, Ernest Howell, and Bill Rawlins. She was a retired accountant with Macy’s Department Store with 32 years of service, and was formerly employed with the Bell Bomber Plant during World War II.
Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Doug and Helen Hardy of Cornelia, Don and Peggy Howell of Mableton, Georgia; son, Ernest Lee Howell of Villa Rica, Georgia; and one sister, Mary Hazel Bagwell of Grier, South Carolina. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Daniel Parker and Keith Hardy officiating.
Interment will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 1024 at the funeral home.
