Habersham County public school students head back to class on Friday, August 4 and that night, the Raider football team heads back to John Larry Black Field.
The Raiders face off against the Banks County Leopards in a scrimmage starting at 7:30 p.m. at Raider Stadium in Mt. Airy.
This is the third season for the Raiders under head coach Benji Harrison and the team is looking to build on last year’s successes. The Raiders went 5-5 in regular play, 1-4 in region to finish the 2016 season with a .500 record.
