Annie Mae Gravitt Parker

Annie Mae Gravitt Parker, AGE 82, of Alto, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Parker was born July 7, 1932 in Hall County to the late Jim and Christine Simpson Gravitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky J. Parker; grandchild, Roxanne Sullens, and numerous siblings. She was the last member of her immediate family. Mrs. Parker was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Parker had several different positions during her working career but her greatest career was being a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, George Parker of the home; daughter, Martha Davis of Alto; daughter and son in law, Dorothy and Donnie Lejeune of Holly Beach, Louisiana; and sons, Kenneth Parker and Douglas Parker, both of Alto; 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

A “Time to Remember” and Christian fellowship with the family will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel in Demorest, Georgia. .
