A few strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening across Northeast Georgia and the Western Carolinas.
There is a slight (level 2/5) risk for storms in a band running northwest to southeast across the region where a line of thunderstorms may move through later today. Damaging wind gusts and large hail are the main hazards.
Strong to severe storms are also possible Tuesday evening into Tuesday night. Damaging wind and hail are the main hazards, although a brief, isolated tornado can not be ruled out.
