Emergency crews respond to rollover wreck on Hwy. 123

Traffic on Highway 123 in Stephens County was temporarily slowed Tuesday due to a rollover wreck.

Deputies responded to the scene between Currahee Street and Trestle Ridge Road around 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 10.

Authorities have not released the driver’s name or details of the wreck. At this time, there is no word on any injuries.

One south and one northbound lane were closed for a while. By 1:23 p.m., all lanes were reopened.

Now Habersham has contacted the Georgia State Patrol for information but the agency has not yet responded. This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
