Shonn Ryan Carpenter, age 31, of Alto, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 5, 2024, following a seizure.
Mr. Carpenter was born on November 20, 1992 in Lula, Georgia. He was employed with Cleveland RV, where he served as the Service and Parts Manager. Ryan will be remembered for his calming presence that touched many people that had the opportunity to know him.
Survivors include his wife, Maegen Stone Carpenter; daughter, Kara Carpenter; daughter, Lily Turner; son, Edgar Bratten; parents, Shonn and Leanne Curtis Carpenter; grandparents, Irma Bucaro, Clarance Bucaro, Sr., and Lynda Schmitt; brothers, Steve Shears; Benjamin Shears Jessen Shears; nephews, Blake, Luke, and Rison; aunts and uncles, Wayne and Sheryl Curtis, Paul and Shelley Carpenter, Scott and Julia Carpenter, Clarence Bucaro, Jessica Bucaro, Laura and Scott Kruglewicz, Lisa Carpenter, Jon and Maureen Carpenter, Laura and Gene Barker, Donna Curtis, Gale and Tom Starkenburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the funeral home prior to the service.
Because Ryan wanted people to be themselves and comfortable, the family encourages those in attendance to come casually dressed.
