Debra Toby Edenfield, age 69, of Homer, Georgia, gained her angel wings on Thursday, July 25, 2024, following a prolonged battle with cancer.
Mrs. Edenfield was born on November 2, 1954, in LaFayette, Indiana, to the late Richard and Anna Mason Toby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Bruce.
Survivors include her loving husband of 23 years, Darrell Edenfield, of Homer; daughter, Deanna Sands, of Bradenton, FL; step-children, Bill Edenfield, of Athens; Michelle Edenfield, of Clarkesville; Joey Edenfield, of Baldwin; grandchildren, Lucaya Sands, Alexis Sands, Alex Edenfield, Ashton Edenfield, Allyssa Edenfield, Jewel Edenfield, Zoe Smith; great-grandchildren, Stella and Luna Edenfield; brother, Gary Toby, of Cornelia; sister, Ronda Albritton, of Parrish, FL; and Angie Porter, of Bradenton, FL.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Terry Rice officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the funeral home.
