Fire forced a Gainesville family from their home Tuesday afternoon, a spokesperson for Hall County Fire Rescue says.
At approximately 12:40 p.m. on March 26, Hall County and Gainesville firefighters responded to the 2300 block of Pine Circle Drive for reports of a mobile home fire.
“First arriving crews discovered a large deck fire on the exterior of the structure,” says HCFR spokesperson Kimberlie Ledsinger.
She says firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, containing the flames to the back deck. However, the heavy smoke damaged a portion of an interior room.
According to Ledsinger, the American Red Cross has been contacted to help the displaced family. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
