Carolyn Lula Hogan, 78, of Resaca, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
She was born on July 17, 1944, to the late William Bill and Beula Churchwell Bramblett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jimmy Hogan, and siblings, Bobby Zimmerman and Betty Allen.
Carolyn loved all things Western, Mountain Men, gospel music, and singing. She was a member of College Street Church of God.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, LuCretia Dykes and Wayne and Selena Champion and Kipp; brother, Wesley Bramblett; Sister, Hellon Skelton; grandchildren, Timothy W. Dykes and Tori Adler, Carrie E. Dykes, and Stephen S. Dykes and Chrissy; great-grandchildren, Aniyah Dykes, and Emmie Dykes.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Pastor Dwayne Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Timothy Dykes, Wayne Dykes, Kipp Champion, Stephen Dykes, Steve Zimmerman, and Andrew Zimmerman.
