Glenn Ingram, Sr.

Glenn Ingram, Sr., age 78, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

Mr. Ingram was born on November 22, 1942, in Hall County, Georgia to the late James and Grace Ingram. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Ingram Crow, of Hall County. He was retired from Fieldale Farms with 39 years of service, having served as a Vice President and Treasurer. Mr. Ingram was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. He had a love for charity organizations, serving with Meals on Wheels. He also had a love for the outdoors, spending much time playing golf. Glenn was an avid fan of all things Georgia Tech.

Survivors include his sons, Glenn Ingram, II, of Atlanta; John Ingram, of Demorest; daughters, Melissa Queen, of Cornelia; Cheryl Smith; special friends who were like sons, James McNatt, Devin Thompson; sister, Linda Barrett, of White County; grandson, Jack Stewart; granddaughter, Leah Queen; and great-granddaughter, Lillian Stewart.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the Whitfield Funeral Homes, North Chapel with Mr. James McNatt officiating.

There will be a livestream of the service available at facebook.com/whitfieldfh.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the funeral home prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Habersham Christian Learning Center (HCLC), 188 Owens Circle, Mount Airy, Georgia 30563.
