The City of Demorest Water Department has lifted its Boil Water Advisory for customers affected by last weekend’s storm.
The advisory was issued as a precaution against possible contamination after multiple water lines broke under collapsed roads and from extreme flooding.
All Demorest water customers may now resume normal water use.
