Local state lawmakers will meet and speak with constituents during a pre-legislative forum in Habersham County on Tuesday, January 8.
State Senator John Wilkinson, Representative Terry Rogers and presumptive Representative-Elect Chris Erwin will offer their insights into the upcoming legislative session. Constituents will have a chance to ask them questions and provide their input.
The event is sponsored by the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce. It begins at 7:30 a.m. in the community room at Habersham EMC off of Highway 115 in Clarkesville. A light breakfast will be served.
The event is free and open to the public. Drop-ins are welcome. Organizers say the event should be over by or before 9 a.m.
