An early morning wreck claimed the life of a Toccoa man Monday. The accident happened just after 6 a.m. on GA 365 near Crane Mill Road in Alto.
The Georgia State Patrol says 64-year old Paul Jonathan Tubbs was traveling south in the left lane of GA 365 when his pickup drifted toward the median and he overcorrected. Tubbs lost control of the vehicle. The Ford Ranger overturned and Tubbs was ejected. GSP says he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Tubbs was pronounced dead at the scene.
