Construction nearing a close on the new Southern Bank Drive Zaxby’s
Construction is nearing completion on the new Zaxby’s in Clarkesville. The restaurant is relocating to 110 Southern Bank Drive from its current location on Historic US 441.
“We have been so blessed by the Clarkesville community since we first opened the store in 1995 and cannot wait for them to experience everything that this rebuild has to offer,” says Greg McLeroy, owner of the location along with partner TJ McLeroy. “While we will still continue to offer the same great product, this new building will be much larger than the old building and will include Zaxby’s new design and features.”
Still hiring
The new 3,008 square-foot restaurant will seat 72 and feature an all new interior design. It will have floor-to-ceiling tile, with modernized tables and booths, complemented by an eclectic mix of photography and menu items, according to a news release.
“For this location, we are assembling a great service-minded team of 40 people from the Clarkesville community,” says McLeroy. “We are excited to see what the future holds here and can’t wait to get started.”
