WRWH, Cleveland’s Local News Radio, is partnering with the local nonprofit Family Promise of White and Habersham to present an exciting fundraiser event.
This Wednesday, July 3, the station will hold its seventh annual Fourth of July Pie Auction live on the air. Friends of Family Promise and local businesses are donating pies to be auctioned off on the radio and online.
“This event is not only an exciting fundraising event, it also gives us an opportunity to share with our audience how Family Promise is working to help homeless families in the area,” says WRWH General Manager Dean Dyer.
The event will feature lots of homemade pies from local shops such as Sugartopia, Gourmet Goodies, and Clyde’s Table and Tavern. In addition to the great pies, other delights featured will include quiches, banana pudding from North GA BBQ & Catering of Cleveland, and a cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory!
If you need a yummy dessert for your Fourth of July celebration or simply want to help out a great cause, here’s your chance.
The radio station’s website, WRWH.com, will have a link that will be active on Wednesday morning, where you can view pictures of the auction items, place a bid, or make a donation.
All proceeds benefit Family Promise of White and Habersham, which provides services for local homeless families.
