A Lula woman is charged in connection with a wreck that injured one person and snarled traffic on GA 365 South Saturday.
TFC2 Jonathan Munger of the Georgia State Patrol says 29-year old April Clanton was traveling west on Belton Bridge Road when she pulled into the path of a pickup traveling northbound on GA 365.
The Chevy Avalanche, driven by 31-year old Tameeka Arthur of Toccoa, hit the left side of Clanton’s Jeep Patriot causing the truck to go airborne. It overturned several times, coming to rest in the southbound lanes of GA 365. Clanton’s SUV came to an uncontrolled rest in the crossover of 365 and Belton Bridge.
Munger says Arthur suffered non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Clanton, who was not injured in the wreck, is charged with failure to yield.
