WOW Pre-Thanksgiving Bake Sale This Saturday!

Woodmen of the World Lodge No. 143  is holding its annual pre-Thanksgiving Bake Sale this coming Saturday, November 21st. The sale will be held at the WOW Lodge located at 200 Hills Crossing Road in Clarkesville.

They’ll be serving up hot, homemade biscuits when the doors open at 9 a.m. and the doors will remain open until all the baked goods are sold.

“It’s a wonderful time to pick up a cake for Thanksgiving,” says WOW Financial Representative Ernie Craven. “We’ve been doing this for a number of years and it’s been very successful.”

Craven says money raised from the sale will go to support a number of worthwhile programs including Special Olympics, Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, Sharing & Caring and Little League. The money will also be used to help Woodmen purchase flags and flagpoles for the community.

If you’d like to help by donating baked items you may drop them off at the WOW Lodge in Clarkesville Saturday morning.
