VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Piedmont women’s soccer season opener at Virginia Wesleyan was unable to be completed due to lightning in the area.
With the Marlins leading 2-0 in the 61st minute, play was stopped and was not resumed.
All statistics in the game do not count.
