SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Piedmont University women’s cross country team took on the Converse Kickoff early Saturday morning. The Lions’ four runners represented the only Division III athletes to compete at the meet.
Junior Skyler Seeber led the group, placing 63rd at the meet while turning in a 24:40.9. Fellow junior Hannah Marlowe was the next to cross the line for Piedmont, running a 26:58.3
Junior Bella Caccamo and sophomore Hayden Linn rounded out the finishers for the meet, with Caccamo running a PR 27:40.8 while Linn turned in a 37:15.5.
Up next, Piedmont travels to Salem, Virginia for the Asics Invitational on Saturday, October 4.
