A 68-year-old Mt. Airy woman was injured in a rollover crash on New Liberty Road in Clarkesville this afternoon. The Georgia State Patrol identifies the driver as Karen Franklin.
According to state troopers, Franklin was driving a 2004 Ford Super Duty pickup truck north on New Liberty when she lost control of the vehicle, ran off the west shoulder of the road, and overturned. The truck wound up on its left side facing the south.
Franklin sustained minor injuries. Habersham EMS transported her to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment, officials say.
Habersham County Emergency Services, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Clarkesville Fire Department and Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene.
GSP says no charges were issued.
