Willie Loggins Loudermilk

Willie Loggins Loudermilk, age 76 of Cornelia, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

Born in Cornelia, Georgia on May 14, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William Fulton “Bill” Loggins & Etta House Loggins. Willie was a nursing graduate of the North Georgia Technical College and retired as a Med/Surg Clerk with Habersham Medical Center with 33 years of dedicated service. She was an avid quilter/crafter and was best known for her hand-made Christmas Stockings. Willie was a member of Good News Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene “Gene-Bo” Loudermilk; granddaughter, Kim Davidson; great-granddaughter, Eunice J. Lockhoff; & brother, David Loggins.

Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Richard “Rick” & Stephanie Loudermilk of Toccoa, GA; William Scott & Myra Loudermilk of Caddo Mills, TX; daughters & sons-in-law, Pamela & Butch Davis of Clarkesville, GA; Sheila & Donald Davidson of Demorest, GA; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers & sister-in-law, Joseph Loggins, John E. & Lynn Loggins, all of Mt. Airy, GA; James Loggins of Toccoa, GA; other special family, James & Donna Funk, Tracy Ruark, Tonya Ward all of Homer, GA; special quilting friends, Annie Mae Looney, Joan Akins, Alberta Price, Cindy Smith, & The Currahee Quilters, many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Sanford Kimbrell & Rev. Greg Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
