William Kim “Porky” English

William Kim “Porky” English, age 51, of Demorest, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015.
Born on January 11, 1964, in Stephens County, Georgia, he was a son of Vivian Hill English of Demorest and the late Harold David English. Mr. English was employed with his father at English Sawmill for many years. He enjoyed working on cars, cooking, making people laugh and playing with his grandbabies. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lucinda Rogowski; brothers, Oscar and Tim English; paternal and maternal grandparents; cousin, Brad English; nephew, Zachary Turgeon.

In addition to his mother, survivors include daughter and fiancé, Rose English and Brent McCallister of Demorest; daughter, Nicole English of Demorest; son-in-law, Christian Rogowski of Banks County; grandchildren, Ashlin, Casey and Gracie Rogowski all of Banks County, Anna and David Anastasio both of Demorest and Ellie McCallister of Demorest; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Marie English of Demorest; brother, Keith English of Demorest; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Todd Gaines of Demorest; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services are 3 pm Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Tony Goss, Rev. Keith Allison and Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in the Habersham Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. The family is at the home of his mother Vivian English.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made at Habersham Federal Credit Union, attn. Kim English, to help with funeral expenses.
