The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection’s Compassion Committee presented White County Public Safety’s Volunteer Rehab program with a $500 donation. The funds were presented as part of the church’s community outreach ministry.
“We appreciate the support from the community and the Episcopal Church,” said White County Public Safety Director David Murphy. “Our Volunteer Rehab program is grateful for this donation.”
The Rehab program operated by the Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) provides assistance and rehabilitation to public safety personnel on scenes of major fires, lost/missing persons, and other events that first responders are on scene for an extended amount of time.
The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection is located in Sautee-Nacoochee, Georgia.
