(Cleveland)- White County Special Olympics recently sent 6 athletes to the 2015 Masters Bowling Games in Warner Robins. They competed in the Olympic event August 21 thu 23rd. White County brought home several medals. Carter Cruce a bronze, Brian Head 4th place, James Nelms was the big winner. In his last games Nelms had 7 strikes! He brought home GOLD, Britney Freeman a Bronze, Mitchell Hawkins secured a silver and Charlie Head a silver.
A special thanks to Kay Head, Nancy Cruce and Sharon Daniels for a great job of coaching the athletes. If you see these athletes around town give the a pat on the back for a great job.
