Friends and family are mourning the loss of a Cleveland man who died in a wreck in White County over the weekend.
According to wrwh.com, 41-year old Jason Dale Pearson was killed in a crash at 6787 Highway 254 when his 1996 Chevrolet truck crossed the center line and hit a tow truck. The accident happened just before 4 p.m. Saturday.
Pearson died as a result of his injuries. No other injuries were reported.
WRWH reports Corporal J.S. Munger of the Georgia State Patrol says alcohol is suspected in the crash.
The accident shut down a portion of Hwy. 254 for more than two hours.
