82-year-old Lamon Kinsey died on Thursday after he was thrown from his tractor on his property on Highway 254 just over the Habersham County line in White County.
His family tells Now Habersham that Kinsey was bush hogging and they believe he hit a stump and was knocked off. He was crushed by the back wheel of the tractor.
The accident happened just after 1 pm on Thursday afternoon.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
